Roadside (Garages) Limited is delighted to sponsor the Coleraine Campus 5k road race taking place for the first time this year at Ulster University, Coleraine on 4th March 2022.

This race is supporting the "Down's Syndrome Association" - there is a donation option when registering and 10% of all race profits will also go to the charity.  

Race director Ryan Galway, from RG Coaching & Events is hoping this will be the start of big things and was recently quoted in the Causeway Chronicle:

"I have always thought the university loop is an ideal place for a fast 5k race and I am delighted that local business have come on board to make it a reality, " said Ryan.

"Having runners ranging from sub 14 minutes right up to 45 minutes is a great advertisement for local running." There will be two races on the night - an elite field race and an open race, along with a race DJ bringing the atmosphere on what promises to be a brilliant night on the North Coast.

There's already a number of NI/International athletes already signed up, so not only will this be a fantastic sporting event to take part in or to come along and support, but also a great community event for the Causeway Coast and Glens area.

If you haven't already got your entry in you'll need to be quick as entries close on 21st February 2022. There will be no entries on the day.

  • Open 5k race 19:00 (45 min cut off)
  • Elite 5k race 20:00 Men Sub 17/Women Sub 21 mins
  • 1st Male & Female in Elite Race: £200/2nd Male & Female: £150/3rd Male & Female: £100
  • Sub 15 men & Sub 17 women, contact Ryan.

Chip timed and officially measured course

This will be a fast 5k race on the road within the grounds of Ulster University, Coleraine.

Registration is open until 21/2/22 through http://athleticsni.org/fixtures and Ryan requests that any sub 15 men and sub 17 women, get in touch at [email protected].
