Kia Sportage - The most popular car in NI with a record-breaking year!

2025 was a record-breaking year for Kia in the UK with 113,436 new registrations, securing fourth place overall and a 5.6 percent market share. Retail sales grew by an impressive 19 percent year on year, showing stronger demand than ever.

The Kia Sportage led the way once again, becoming the second best-selling car in the UK with 47,788 registrations, while the new EV3 enjoyed a standout first full year and quickly became one of the UK’s top three best selling electric vehicles.

Success stretched across the full range too, with the Picanto topping the city car segment and Kia setting a new global sales record of over 3.1 million vehicles sold worldwide.

Closer to home, Kia was proudly the best selling brand in Northern Ireland, with the Sportage also taking the title of best-selling model locally.
