What is an MOT Test?
An MOT test is primarily a road safety measure introduced by the Ministry of Transport as a means of ensuring that all vehicles on the road, which are over 4 years old, are road worthy, properly maintained and meet the minimum safety and environmental standards.
If you have a vehicle that is three or more years old (four or more years in Northern Ireland), you are legally required to have an MOT test undertaken annually.
